Booking

Glyfada Beach Villas can only accept reservations from people aged 18 or older. The renter should be aged 18 or older and should be present during the stay. Bookings are only definite after receipt of our booking form and receipt of the required deposit payment of 30%. Please your booking form for accuracy immediately. By booking a villa here at GBV means that you have agreed and accepted the Terms and conditions of Glyfada Beach Villas.

Price of your holiday
Prices quoted on our website are in Euro. Not included inside villa price is the Climate resilience tax implemented by the Greek government at 01.01.2024, Euro 1,50 per day extra, which should be paid by clients on the day of their departure (end invoice).

Payments

To confirm a booking, GBV requires a 30% deposit (non-refundable) which is due on time of booking. The balance payment is due six weeks before arrival. The total amount is required for bookings made within six weeks before arrival. Payments can be made easily by credit card or bank transfer.

Cancellations Policy
For cancellations made > 21 days before arrival, 30% of the total amount will be charged. 
For cancellations made < 21 days before arrival, 50% of the balance payment will be charged. 
Non-show or early departure: the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Very occasionally, we may need to cancel your booking. In such circumstances, you will be given a full refund, but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to GBV. In case our clients have to cancel their holiday because of Covid-19 travel restrictions refund of the amount paid will be given only in form of a credit voucher which they can use within 18 months.

Check-in / Check-out Time

Guests may check-in from 14.00 – 18.00. On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to leave their villas at 10.00 AM

Swimming
Swimming pools may be used only during opening hours and at their own risk. It is strictly forbidden to use the swimming pools at night. All children (under 17 years of age) staying at GBV are allowed to use the swimming pools only under the supervision of an adult. Parents/guardians must ensure that children who cannot swim are wearing water wings or lifejackets. Also, an adult should always remain near the child. It is not allowed to dive into both the swimming pool. Young children and clients with heart problems are not allowed to use the Jacuzzi.

Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any of our villas.

Force Majeure
If the booking is completely or partially hindered through circumstances beyond our control, this will be considered a force majeure. This includes the threat of war, flood, earthquake, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, fire, and failure of electric power, gas, water, plant machinery, computer, or any collapse of building structures.

Liability

GBV, employees and their agents do not accept any responsibility for the following:
Theft, loss, damage, or personal injury incurred of any nature whatsoever during or as a result of staying at GBV.
Our clients must leave the villas clean and in good order and will be held responsible for any damage, loss, or breakages. The costs of additional expenses will be payable by the client.

Governing Law
The contract between GBV and you is governed by the Law of Greece. Any dispute that arises between GBV and our client will be dealt with by the Courts of Greece.
