Restaurants
Glyfada Beach villas have 2 Tavernas one close to the sea with a beach bar and a large terrace with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast served every day from 08.15 – 10.15 and Greek lunch served every day from 13.00 – 17.00. Our taverna for dinner will be open at Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening from 19.00 – 22.30. All our food is freshly prepared in the Greek traditional way with the finest Greek ingredients. Reservations for non-residents at (+30) 6981021799
Museum
The small Museum in Glyfada is fascinating as it presents a variety of artefacts found on Paxos. For example, there are oil lamps and old tools used for collecting olives (a speciality on Paxos). We recommend paying a visit because it provides a good insight into how people lived in the early days on Paxos.
Swimming pool
There are two swimming pools in Glyfada Beach. One pool is located on the hill near the tennis court. The second swimming pool and Jacuzzi are situated near to the beach and our Greek taverna. From both our swimming pools there are spectacular views of the Ionian Sea towards the Greek mainland and Corfu. Both pools have a good mixture of sea and salt water, which is continuously refreshed with a state of the art filtering system. There is also a pool bar at the pool near to the beach with soft drinks, spirits, ice creams and coffee. At times during the day, both pools are mostly quiet, perfect for some relaxation and sunbathing on the comfortable sun loungers. There is strictly no diving in both pools for your safety. The deep end is 180 cm (just less than 6ft), and the shallow end is 90cm, ideal for children.
Beaches
Glyfada Beach villas have access to 2 beautiful beaches. On the one hand Monodendri Beach just below the villas and Glyfada Beach. Most of the beaches on Paxos are pebble beaches. For your comfort and safety, we advise you to wear jelly shoes or something similar. Sunbeds for non-residents Euro 5,00 per sunbed. Reservations made at (+30) 6981021799
Tenniscourt
The tennis court is situated near the main entrance of Glyfada near the reception and pool. It is a hard court which is surrounded by traditional stone walls and cypress trees which offer plenty of shade in the late afternoon. If you are a very keen player, you are advised to bring your rackets and balls because the number is limited. Reservations for the tennis court (also available for non-residents) need to be pre-booked at the reception or by phone at (+30) 6981021799. Our tennis cost Euro 15,00 per hour for 2 persons.
